  • Duration: The total BDS courses duration is five years which includes one year of compulsory internship to become a practitioner as a dentist with an approved certificate from the Dental Council of India. If you want to pursue further studies after BDS, then you must enroll in the master's program in dentistry which is MDS. The total BDS and MDS course duration is 8 years which includes 5 years of bachelor program.
