Oral Pathology & Microbiology

The department of oral pathology & microbiology, offers facilities regarding histopathology and diseases of the oral cavity, especially oral cancers. It is concerned with diagnosis and study of causes and effects of diseases affecting oral and maxillofacial region. The department comprises basic field of knowledge to be co – related with clinical application.

The dental anatomy laboratory is when the students develop carving skills of different teeth, with the help of models, charts and demonstration by the staff. The histopathology laboratory has been equipped with the latest biochemical analyzers to achieve a level of accuracy in sample examination and give out as accurate diagnosis as possible.
